Biography

Shelby joined the Regional Economic Studies Institute (RESI) in 2022. She works closely with RESI鈥檚 research associates to provide economic forecasts, economic commentary, and data analysis. She assists in developing comprehensive research plans for new projects and guides research staff in achieving the stated research objectives.

Previously, Shelby was a graduate research assistant at 黑料传送门 of Maine, performing research for the USDA on the value chain of organic grain production. She was also an undergraduate research assistant at Towson 黑料传送门, working on a research project assessing the effect of free cataracts surgery on food security outcomes.

Education

Shelby earned a M.S. in applied economics from 黑料传送门 of Maine and a B.S. in economics from Towson 黑料传送门. She is certified as Human Subjects Training: Social & Behavioral Research by CITI Program.
